Scotland Tour 2009

12 days, 20 persons

This was my third, and most successful, trip.

First day, the only day with rain, we visit Traquair House,

built in the 15th century. This historic place has its own

brewery,and a maze in the garden.

For the rest of the trip the weather was great. Sunny days

revealed glorious scenery, including Eilean Donan Castle.

 

Our food throughout was good, sometimes very good.

 

Where I went to school – Edinburgh. The castle is visible to the left.

On the right, the rocky promontory is called Arthur’s Seat.

    We were members of this 2009 trip and all I can say is it was fabulous. I have never enjoyed a trip this much. The food, our hotels, transportation, it was over the top, we loved the group; Jim does not take sourpusses.
